Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ACE Operational Intelligence Inc. (“ACE”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and our business-intelligence service (the “Service”). We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with applicable Canadian privacy law, including Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Who we are

ACE Operational Intelligence Inc. is a company registered in Quebec, Canada. You can reach us at support@aceoperationalintelligence.com, or by mail on request.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide the Service:

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.

3. How we use your information

4. AI processing

To generate written insights, your business data is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the “Claude” API), solely to produce your report. Under Anthropic's API terms, this data is not used to train their models. We send only what is needed to generate the requested output.

5. Database connections (optional)

If you choose to connect your own database instead of uploading a file, you provide the connection details. Those credentials are used only for your active session and are never written to disk or stored by us. We read only the data needed to build your report.

6. Sharing & service providers

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, under appropriate confidentiality terms:

We may also disclose information if required by law. Some providers may process data outside Quebec or Canada (for example, in the United States); we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected.

7. Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Business data is processed to generate your reports and is retained only as necessary for that purpose. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your rights”).

8. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access and receive a copy of your personal information, to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, to request deletion, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to request portability of your information. You may also ask questions about how we handle it. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

ACE has designated a person responsible for the protection of personal information (our Privacy Officer), who can be reached at support@aceoperationalintelligence.com.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data. See our Data Security page for more detail.

10. Cookies & analytics

Our website uses only what is necessary to function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.

11. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under the age of majority. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
